Henna or mehndi designs

Henna or mehndi, is common in India, the Middle East and North Africa. Traditionally, henna patterns are applied to signify a special occasion, usually a wedding.Hindu brides and sometimes grooms, for example, have intricate mehndi designs piped onto their hands, forearms, feet and calves. Moroccan culture makes use of the art of mehndi for many special occasions, including weddings, births, engagements and birthdays.In recent years, temporary skin decoration with henna has become popular in Western countries as well.
